Privacy
I take the protection of clients' data very seriously.
I keep a record of all current clients' contact details and GP details, in order to be able to contact you e.g. to rearrange sessions. These handwritten notes are kept under lock and key. Once your therapy ceases, this data is destroyed.
My work mobile phone is passcode protected and your contact details will be deleted once therapy ceases.
The laptop I use when holding online therapy sessions is passcode protected, and a separate password is issued for each therapy session.
I keep handwritten notes regarding themes presenting in therapy sessions. These are available for you to read on request. Between sessions, these notes are kept under lock and key. Again, once your therapy ceases, these notes are destroyed.
In addition, for current clients, my professional executor keeps an electronic, password protected copy of your contact details, for the purposes of arranging ongoing therapy for you in the unlikely event of my death or incapacitation.
I welcome any further questions you may have regarding data and privacy.
